When working with electronic music, we are not tied to the use of real instruments instead we often use extremely diverse sounds. Therefore it’s extremely important that the balance between these sounds is in order, to ensure the track will sound as you intended. Other points that will be addressed during the mixing process are:
Since the track(s) are delivered in separate stems, each element can be adjusted with great precision. For example, we can ensure that the sounds are spread sufficiently across the stereo image, which creates a convincing spatial representation. We also look at the frequencies in each sound and make sure there is not too much overlap between the sounds. This results in a louder, tighter and more full sounding track when mastered.
